Prosecco and Pelvic Floor. WHY ???????

Not really a match made in heaven, but I thought the Prosecco would help the ladies attending the event to feel a little more relaxed when getting down and personal.

Some of my intimate girlie chats have been over a bottle of wine and good company.

I want to explain in a little more depth what to expect, what you will learn that evening and how I can help you if you need it in the future.

I am very honest about my lady bits but I am just beginning to realise that the majority of women are quite embarrassed when it comes to “down there”.

I meet many women now at different events and I am very forward in mentioning my work when ever I can.
Some walk away, others giggle and say “there’s nothing wrong with my pelvic floor thank you” and the rare few are honest and admit to wetting themselves when jumping, running and laughing.

So what can you expect at the Prosecco and Pelvic Floor evening ?

You can expect a relaxed informal 90 minutes.
Starting off with a cheeky glass of fizz.

Once seated I will give a basic overview of the female body including the pelvic floor muscles. I have a plastic model so rest assured I wont be asking for volunteers.

I will explain what you can do to prevent dysfunction.

How you should pee and poop correctly.

It’s surprising how many people sit on the toilet with their phones and IPads now.

Don’t be embarrassed if you have this habit . You are not alone.
This is causing bad posture during your toilet habits.

I will give you some examples of what can go wrong with the pelvic floor.

I will show you how breathing properly can help you to connect with your pelvic floor and how in doing so can also improve sensation which apart from strengthening can also help to heighten sensation which could lead to better orgasms…..
Now there’s a good reason to come along. For some maybe , the only reason…….

I will include a short practical session for you to experience the connection between you diaphragm and your pelvic floor. (Don’t worry its only the breathing part).

I will explain how kegel exercises are a good start but I am more interested in helping women strengthen their pelvic floor for more functional daily movement.

There will be time to ask questions and share your own experiences if you so wish.

I hope this has helped explain a real girlie information evening , a time to be honest and open if you wish. A time to do something for yourself and maybe a time to deal with this little leaks you’ve been having !
